TANK: A policeman official embraced martyrdom as terrorists attacked Police Lines in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in early hours of the morning on Friday.
As per initial reports, three attackers tried to enter the police lines of Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The police promptly retaliated and killed two attackers while the the third was cornered and blew-up himself.
The current deteriorating situation is being closely countered through the effective counterattack on terrorists.
DPO Tank Iftikhar Shah told media that two policemen including a Assistant Sub-Inspector Gohar has embraced martyrdom while 2 policemen have been injured.
A search operation is continuing to find anymore attackers who might have entered the compound, surrounded by both police and security forces.
It is pertinent to mention here that on December 13, at least 23 soldiers embraced martyrdom and many others were injured when six suicide bombers rammed an explosive-laden truck into a military base in the troubled Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan district, said ISPR in a statement.
