TikTok Removes Over 25 Million Videos in Pakistan During Q2 2025

Social media platform TikTok removes over 25 million videos in Pakistan during Q2 2025 for violating community guidelines. According to details, TikTok maintained an active content removal rate of 99.7% in Pakistan, with 96.2% of the deleted videos taken down within just 24 hours of being uploaded. These figures highlight TikTok’s continued commitment to providing a safe and positive digital environment for its users.

The report, covering data from April to June 2025, outlines the proactive steps TikTok has taken to identify and remove content that violates its community guidelines to ensure a positive global experience for its audience.

Globally, TikTok removed a total of 189 million videos during the same quarter, representing around 0.7% of all uploaded content. Out of these, 163.96 million videos were removed using automated technologies, while 7.45 million were restored after further review. The proactive content removal rate stood at 99.1%, with 94.4% of marked videos deleted within 24 hours.

To preserve platform integrity, TikTok also deleted over 77.6 million fake accounts and an additional 25.9 million suspected underage accounts belonging to users under 13 years old.
