Lahore: Popular TikToker Alina Aamir has registered an FIR against those involved in creating and circulating a fake deepfake video attributed to her, warning that all responsible individuals will be taken to task under the law.
The controversial video, which went viral around two weeks ago, was later confirmed to be AI-generated. According to Alina Aamir, the video originally featured another woman, but her face was digitally superimposed using artificial intelligence, leading to widespread misinformation and harassment.
In her latest video statement shared on social media, Alina Aamir said she initially chose to remain silent and closely observed developments over the past week. However, she decided to speak out after seeing hundreds of posts falsely claiming that her video had been “leaked.”
“I had already made it clear that I would not stay silent on this issue and would raise my voice for myself,” she said.

The TikToker shared screenshots of the registered FIR in her video, confirming that legal action has been initiated. She stated that the case has been filed not only against those who created the deepfake video using AI, but also against individuals who shared, reposted, or promoted it on social media.
“These people will be made an example,” she warned.
Alina Aamir thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Provincial Minister Hina Parvez Butt, and the NCCIA for their support and assistance in the matter.
She said her stand was meant to become a voice for girls who are often frightened by such incidents and choose silence. “If you are truthful, no one can silence you or scare you,” she added.
The TikToker said she could have stayed quiet, as such controversies usually fade within days, but chose not to do so to prevent similar incidents in the future. “I will not forgive those responsible. I advise all girls to raise their voice and stand up for themselves,” she said.
