Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced the end of the American blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and said that ships stopped due to the blockade can now pass through the key waterway.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the Strait of Hormuz should be opened immediately and completely without any toll tax so that shipping can continue without interruption.
The US President said Iran must agree that it will never possess nuclear weapons or an atomic bomb.
Trump Calls for Removal of Sea Mines
Donald Trump said that if sea mines are present in the waterway, they will be removed.
He claimed that the United States has already destroyed several mines using its advanced mine sweepers.
Trump said the remaining sea mines must be removed or destroyed immediately by Iran.
According to the US President, ships that were stopped due to the American blockade in the Strait of Hormuz are now allowed to move.
Strait of Hormuz to Be Fully Opened
Trump said the Strait of Hormuz should remain open for international shipping.
The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the world’s most important maritime routes. Any disruption in the area can affect global energy supplies and trade movement.

In the same statement, Trump also referred to what he called “Iranian nuclear dust.”
He claimed that the Iranian nuclear dust is buried deep under nearly collapsed mountains.
According to Trump, the destruction of enriched uranium took place 11 months ago as a result of attacks by US B-2 bombers.

The US President said America will remove the Iranian nuclear dust from underground.
He added that both the United States and China have the technical ability to carry out this work.
Trump said the process will be completed with the cooperation and coordination of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
