Trump says he does not need China’s help as Iran war tensions escalate over Strait of Hormuz crisis

Trump says he does not need China's help

Trump says he does not need China’s help as tensions around the Iran war continue to rise and global powers struggle to find a path toward peace. Donald Trump said he believes the United States can handle the situation without Beijing’s involvement.

The US President made these remarks ahead of a planned summit in Beijing, where he is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping. He said he does not see any need to involve China in efforts to resolve the conflict with Iran, despite rising global concerns over energy routes and security.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he remains confident about handling the situation. He added that Washington would “win it one way or another, peacefully or otherwise,” as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East. One of the biggest concerns is the growing instability around the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil route.

Trump says he does not need China’s help again as reports suggest Iran has tightened its control over the Strait of Hormuz, affecting global oil shipments. The waterway normally carries nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply, making the situation highly sensitive for global markets.

According to officials, Iran has expanded its influence in the region and signed new arrangements with countries like Iraq and Pakistan to manage oil and LNG shipments. These developments have raised fears that Tehran could strengthen long-term control over the route.

US and Chinese officials had earlier agreed that no country should impose charges on shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. However, China has not openly challenged Iran’s position, as it continues to buy large volumes of Iranian oil.

Trump says he does not need China’s help when discussing the upcoming talks with Xi Jinping, although he is expected to press China to encourage Iran to return to negotiations. US demands reportedly include stopping Iran’s nuclear program and easing control over the strategic waterway.

At the same time, global pressure is increasing as oil prices continue to rise and economic concerns grow in the United States. Critics say the conflict is also adding strain to domestic inflation and energy costs.

Despite rising criticism, Trump maintains that his focus remains solely on preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons. He insists that economic pressures will not change his approach to the conflict.
