Trump’s ban on Muslims will strengthen terrorists: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said Trump’s decision to ban visa on seven Muslim countries would only strengthen terrorists’ agenda and harm innocent people.
He was talking to newsmen after inaugurating the Executive Passport Office here on Monday. He stressed that over a billion strong community of Muslims cannot be blamed for the acts of a handful of people, adding that linking Islam with the terrorism was tantamount to damaging the successes achieved against militants.
He said the worst sufferers of terrorism are Muslims and they have given the most sacrifices against this scourge.
Replying to another question, he said the visa restrictions imposed by the US will not affect terrorists.
Nisar said fourteen Executive Passport Offices will be set up in the country this year.
He said with the inauguration of this office in Islamabad, we have accomplished another milestone in establishing the network of these modern offices for public facilitation.
Interior Minister said a number of NADRA mega offices will also become operational this year in all major cities.
Chaudhary Nisar by March 2017, each district will have its own passport office.
Chaudhary Nisar said in sixty nine years of Pakistan, a total of 94 passport offices were set up. While during a short span of one and half years, our government is setting up 74 passport offices in the country.
