BAHAWALPUR: At least two innocent lives were lost, and several others were left injured when two vehicles collided with immense force at the Jhangra Sharqi Interchange in Bahawalpur early Wednesday morning.
According to rescue sources, the accident occurred when a truck collided with a bus, killing two people on the spot. A private news channel reported that the truck caught fire immediately after the collision.
Rescue teams arrived swiftly at the scene and worked to control the fire. It was reported that the high-speed passenger bus struck the truck while attempting to avoid a collision after making a sharp turn.
