LAKKI MARWAT: At least two policemen were martyred in two different attacks in census teams in southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.
According to sources, unknown armed men attacked a team of national census Kot Azam area of Tank district. At least one policeman was martyred while eight others sustained bullet injuries in the attack. The martyred policeman was identified as Khan Nawab. The policemen were deployed for the security of the national census team. The dead and injured policemen were shifted to nearby hospital, while the security forces launched search operation in the area.
