RAWALPINDI: Security forces conducted two separate operations, eliminating two terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on the night of 9/10 October 2023, according to a military statement released on Tuesday night.
The ISPR statement noted that in the first operation, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan district. Following an intense exchange of fire, a terrorist named Ikram was neutralized. He had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, including recent attacks on Police Station Hathala & Rori Police Check Post.
ISPR said that another encounter with terrorists occurred in in the general area of Miran Shah of North Waziristan district, where security forces effectively engaged the terrorist location, resulting in the elimination of one more terrorist.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
Local residents in the area expressed their appreciation for the operation and voiced their full support for the eradication of terrorism.
