PESHAWAR: At least two workers were killed in an explosion in a match factory in Peshawar on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122, the blast occurred in a factory at Hayatabad Industrial estate. The Rescue officials said that the explosion occurred due to chemical, which caught fire. The roof of the factory collapsed due to the blast. Two workers were injured in the explosion, who were shifted to the hospital. However, the injured succumbed to their injuries at hospital. The injured were identified as Abid son of Awal Khan, resident of Shah Kas and Wakhiar, resident of Afghanistan.
