HAMILTON: Pakistan won the toss and opted to filed first against New Zealand with the same playing XI in the 2nd Twenty20 International (T20I) today at Seddon Park in Hamilton.
Pakistan kicked off their trip on a downbeat note, suffering a 46-run defeat in the series first match against New Zealand. The match is scheduled at 11:10 am today.
Pakistan’s playing XI:
Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Azam Khan (WK), Iftikhar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi (C), Aamir Jamal, Abbas Afridi, Usama Mir.
In the first match, New Zealand won by 46 runs against Pakistan in at Eden Park, Auckland, on Friday. Despite a stunning start provided by Saim Ayub’s astonishing knock as the left-handed batsman scored 27 off just 8 balls, the Green Shirts crumbled in their chase and could not convert that into a win.
