GUJRANWALA: A seven-year-old child died due to the alleged violence of his uncle and aunt.
According to police reports, the young nephews were severely tortured by their relatives, resulting in the death of seven-year-old Sultan and injury to two-year-old Saqlain in the Gondlanwala area.
Authorities revealed that the children’s parents are currently incarcerated on drug-related charges. Following the incident, the uncle transported the injured child to the hospital, falsely claiming involvement in a traffic accident, as per police statements.
Upon examination of the child’s injuries, medical staff alerted law enforcement, but unfortunately, Sultan could not survive his injuries and passed away in the hospital.
Police have initiated legal proceedings, registering a case against the accused husband and wife, who have since been apprehended.
