According to US media, at least seven explosions were reported in Caracas. A senior American official, speaking to a news agency, confirmed that the United States has initiated military strikes against Venezuela.
The Venezuelan government has confirmed that the attacks targeted Caracas, Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira states. Venezuelan authorities alleged that the US offensive aims to seize control of the country’s oil reserves and mineral resources.
