ISLAMABAD: US, UK, Turkiye, France, and Iraq have strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Pakistan that left at least 60 people dead and injured 65 others on Friday when nation were celebrating Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
The United States State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller in his message on the social media application X, formerly Twitter, strongly condemned suicide attacks in Mastung area of Balochistan and Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The United Kingdom (UK) Secretary of State for Foreign James Cleverly telephoned Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and nd condoled the loss of innocent lives. He expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and hoped for the speedy recovery of those injured.
In separate statement, France denounced in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in Pakistan. A statement of the French government said, “France strongly condemns the terrorist attacks perpetrated during religious processions in Pakistan. France expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished for a speedy recovery of the injured people.

Turkey strongly condemned terrorist attacks in Pakistan and expressed solidarity with Pakistan. In a statement, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that they expressed deep sorrow and grief over the terrorist attack in Pakistan. It added that Ankara shared the deep grief of the Government and people of Pakistan. It said, “We condemn this terrible attack targeting a place of worship on this holy day, convey condolences to the families of the victims, and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded,”. The statement maintained that Ankara would continue to support Pakistan with resolve in its fight against terrorism.

Meanwhile, Iraq strongly denounced the two terrorist attacks in Pakistan. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry of Iraq said that Baghdad expressed its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and its solidarity with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Quetta has registered a first information report (FIR) of the Mastung suicide blast as death toll soared to 55.
On other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police also registered for the twin suicide blasts at Doaba police station mosque of Hangu on complaint of the SHO of the police station.
KP Interim Chief Minister Azam Khan, while seeking a report of the explosions, directed the rescue agencies and the district administration for undertaking immediate relief operations.
