A solemn ceremony on Defense Day at Yadgar Shahada Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami was the event’s chief guest.
He laid a wreath at the memorial in honor of the martyrs and offered prayers for both the fallen heroes and the security of the nation.
Across the country, Defense Day is being celebrated with great zeal. At the Quaid’s Mausoleum, a special guard-changing ceremony took place to mark the occasion. Cadets from the Pakistan Air Force Academy assumed the guard duties at the Mazar-e-Quaid.
The event was presided over by Air Vice Marshal Shehryar Khan, Air Officer Commanding of the PAF Academy Asghar Khan. Tight security measures were in place around the mausoleum for the event.
