Wanted terrorist arrested from Peshawar


PESHAWAR: Peshawar’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a wanted terrorist during a raid in city on Thursday.
According to CTD spokesperson, anti-terror force raided a hideout after receiving information from secret agencies about the presence of wanted terrorist in area of Kohat Road.
During the raid, personnel of CTD arrested a terrorist identified as Ijaz.
According to CTD, he was involved in attacks on a hujra of a nazim backed in 2009 in which ten people had killed while several others wounded.
The tribal and home department had announced Rs 0.5 million as head money of the arrested terrorist.
CTD spokesperson said that arms and drugs were also seized from the arrested terrorist.
He was shifted to unknown location for further interrogation.
