WANA: The Waziristan Peace Festival 2026 is continuing successfully across South Waziristan, with strong participation from local youth and communities.

Organized with the support of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South, the festival began on June 12 and will continue until July 10. The event aims to promote peace, unity, brotherhood, and positive engagement among young people in the region.

More than 200 teams are taking part in sports competitions at 23 locations across Waziristan. The large turnout reflects the enthusiasm of local youth and their commitment to spreading a message of peace and cooperation.

The festival is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen lasting peace in Waziristan and encourage constructive activities for young people.

During the first phase of the festival, 183 matches have already been held. These include 95 cricket matches, 31 football matches, and 57 volleyball matches. More than 2,000 young participants have taken part in the competitions, highlighting the event’s growing popularity and public support.

Waziristan Peace Festival 2026 is playing an important role in promoting harmony, unity, and community engagement through the active involvement of young people across the region.
