In Pakistan, there has been a 0.51% weekly decrease in the prices of essential items, though the annual inflation rate has seen a decline to 42.60%, as reported by the Department of Statistics. Notably, stability has been observed in additional and forty prices.
The recent report highlights that nine common items, including petrol, diesel, garlic, tomatoes, chicken, basmati vegetables, and cooking oil, have experienced price reductions this week. Conversely, prices of 18 items, including onion, dal mong, dal chana, oats, bananas, firewood, and LPG, have witnessed an increase.
Meanwhile, the prices of 40 items have remained unchanged, contributing to the overall stability in essential commodities.
