Shehbaz Sharif to file suit against Daily Mail for 'misleading' story

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has said that it was their legal and constitutional right to welcome their party’s supreme leader Nawaz Sharif.
In a statement, Shehbaz Sharif has said that they were not afraid of jails and imprisonment adding that workers of PML-N would welcome Nawaz Sharif in a peaceful manner.
The PML-N President said that he along with party stalwarts would reach airport to welcome Nawaz Sharif and assured that party workers would not inflict damage on government installations.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the arrests of his party workers were raising questions on the transparency of elections adding that being party’s President, he would not remain silent over the arrests of his party workers.
He further said that transparent elections were imperative for the country saying that every political party should be provided level playing field in the upcoming general elections.
He also demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice of the arrests of his party workers.
