Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has launched a powerful tirade against the federal government and national institutions. He accused them of crippling Pakistan’s economy and distorting the Constitution. He warned that the country is being dragged toward dictatorship.
Speaking to journalists in Rawalpindi on Thursday, Gandapur said that the ruling elite have played musical chairs with power. “They’ve ruined the economy and the country by ruling in turns,” he stated. “Now, they’ve rewritten laws to erase whatever was left of the Constitution.”
Gandapur made it clear that the PTI Movement is entering a new phase of resistance. “They want to make us slaves,” he said. “But Allah made us free — as Muslims and as Pakistanis. We will never accept slavery.”
He warned that any aggression would be met with equal force. “We’ll answer a stick with a stick,” he said firmly. “We will raise our voices against the Pharaohs of this corrupt system.”
The Chief Minister also targeted the judiciary and law enforcement. He alleged that Imran Khan’s court appearances are being misrepresented and the prosecutor is spreading lies. “We had faith in law, justice, and the Constitution,” he said. “Now, there is no hope left.”
He strongly condemned the treatment of Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI’s founder. “No woman in Pakistan has ever faced what she has endured. It is disgraceful,” he added.
Shifting gears, Gandapur talked about the upcoming KP budget. He promised a public-friendly, tax-free financial plan. He said the next NFC meeting would take place in August. According to him, the provincial government will not provide direct cash but will launch welfare schemes to support the people. “We’ll form a committee to monitor these projects,” he said.
The PTI Movement is not just political, Gandapur emphasized. It is a national struggle. He said that Imran Khan is willing to talk with the establishment. “But only for the country, not for personal gains,” he clarified. “We’ll never give up our constitutional rights. We’ll choose our own path.”
Gandapur stressed that the PTI Movement has already made progress in securing provincial rights. “Our struggle with the federation has largely succeeded,” he claimed.
He pledged full support for PTI’s protest and resistance campaign. “I’m not just a supporter — I’m leading this anti-government campaign,” he said. “Every leader must play a role for us to win.”
He also revealed Imran Khan’s plan to form a new committee for the next phase of protest. “I’ll use my Chief Minister’s protocol in this movement. If someone shoots me, my guards have orders to shoot back,” he warned. “As Chief Minister, I’ll fully use my authority under the Constitution.”
Ending his address, Gandapur declared victory as inevitable. “We stand with the truth. And truth always wins,” he said. “People voted for me, and I will use my powers to serve them.”
He promised that his position will be used only for the people’s benefit. “This corrupt mindset and broken system cannot lead Pakistan forward,” he concluded.
