WhatsApp has unveiled a new feature called “chat filters” aimed at organizing users’ chats into different categories.
The feature offers three filter options within the application: “All,” “Unread,” and “Groups,” prominently displayed above the chat list.
When users select the “All” option, all their chats will be displayed, while choosing “Unread” will reveal only the chats that have not been read yet.
The “Groups” option will specifically display chats related to group conversations or communities. WhatsApp emphasizes that the process is designed to be user-friendly and efficient, allowing users to quickly access the desired chat upon opening the application.
This feature aims to simplify the user experience, reducing the need for extensive scrolling to locate specific chats for conversations.
The rollout of this feature has already commenced, with availability expected for all users in the coming weeks.
