At least 10 foreign terrorists were neutralized during a joint Mianwali Operation carried out by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and local police. The clash took place in the Makarwal area of Mianwali, according to police sources.
During the intense exchange of gunfire, a civilian was also hit. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He was quickly shifted to a nearby hospital for medical care.
The Mianwali Operation is still ongoing. Security forces continue to confront the remaining militants hiding in the area. Authorities have confirmed that all CTD and police personnel involved in the Mianwali Operation are safe and have not suffered any injuries.
Sources added that several more terrorists were wounded during the firefight. The law enforcement teams are carefully advancing to secure the region completely.
