RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M) visited Collective Training Exercise of Strike Corps, said the ISPR on Tuesday.
During the visit, the COAS interacted with the troops involved in the exercise, praising their enthusiasm, operational efficiency, and professionalism. The exercise is aimed at validating offensive operational concepts.
He witnessed an impressive display of complex maneuvers undertaken, led by armored formation equipped with state-of-the-art VT-4 tanks.
Addressing on this occasion, Army Chief reiterated that only realistic, mission-oriented training in peacetime can guarantee excellence on the battlefield should the need arise.
General Munir highlighted the importance of achieving synergy among various arms in response to the rapidly changing threat environment. He also commended the proficiency demonstrated in night operations.
The COAS stressed that realistic, mission-oriented training during peacetime is crucial to ensuring excellence on the battlefield when the need arises. Upon arrival, General Munir was received by Commander Mangla Corps, according to the ISPR.
