The deceased Pakistani man, who fell victim to a knife attack in Germany, will have his remains airlifted to Karachi for burial tomorrow, as confirmed by family sources.
The tragic incident occurred in Ulm city, Germany, where a mentally ill German intruded into the home of a Pakistani-born family, resulting in the death of Fahimuddin, 58, from knife wounds. His wife and 13-year-old daughter were also injured in the attack.
Pakistani Consul General in Frankfurt, Ali Zahid, has extended condolences to the grieving family and assured them of all necessary assistance during this difficult time.
Following the assault, police promptly responded, shooting the attacker on-site. The deceased, along with the injured, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to family insiders, Fahimuddin’s body will be repatriated to Karachi tonight, where funeral prayers and burial arrangements will take place.
