PESHAWAR: Bushra Bibi, wife of incarcerated former premier and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, left for Islamabad today afternoon after staying in Peshawar for four days.
Bushra Bibi was granted bail from Adiala jail four days ago, after which left for the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkwa, where Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is in power.
“We are going to Adiala Jail for Al-Qadir trust case hearing,” said her spokesperson Mashal Yousafzai.
She said, “Today Bushra Bibi will meet Imran Khan after one month”.
Addressing the reports of “deal” between Bushra Bibi and the government, Yousafzai said that “if Bushra Bibi had been released from jail because of a deal, the court hearings would not have happened like this on a daily basis”.
Earlier, Bushra Bibi had filed an exemption request from the court hearing due to poor health, which was accepted by the court.
