Aftab Sherpao, a stalwart of ANP and Qumi Watan Party, is vying for re-election despite facing challenges from candidates representing ANP, PTI, JUIF, and Pakistan Peoples’ Party. In NA-24 Charsadda-II, KP President Aimal Wali faces challenges from JUIF and PPP candidates in his home constituency. The historical electoral dominance of ANP in this constituency is being tested, with Aimal Wali Khan contesting the elections due to his father’s absence.
The electoral history shows ANP’s significant wins, but the dynamics have shifted, with JUI-F winning three times and PTI once in the last elections.
