Security forces killed 11 terrorists during an intense exchange of fire in Balochistan’s Noshki district, according to the military’s media wing. The operation forms part of an ongoing campaign against India-backed militant networks operating in the province.
Pakistan’s security forces have been carrying out sustained counter-terrorism operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, both of which the military says are being run with backing from India.
Details of the Noshki Operation
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that on September 25, forces launched a fresh intelligence-based operation in Noshki district, striking a militant hideout with precision. Following a heavy exchange of gunfire, 11 terrorists were confirmed dead.
This latest action follows a similar operation carried out a day earlier, on September 24, as part of the continuing Operation Sha’ban. In that operation, security forces tracked down and destroyed additional militant hideouts, killing five Khawarij fighters in the process. That brought the total number of Khawarij killed under Operation Sha’ban to 22.
Rising Toll Since September 2026
ISPR reported that a combined total of 33 India-sponsored terrorists have now been killed since the start of September 2026. Weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were also recovered from the militant hideouts targeted during these operations.
The military reaffirmed that security forces and law enforcement agencies will maintain the pace of their counter-terrorism campaign, with the stated goal of eliminating terrorism backed by foreign patronage from the country.
