ISLAMABAD: A case has been registered against former Prime Minister Imran Khan’ lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat at the Police Station Secretariat.
As per the First Information Report (FIR), Sher Afzal Marwat allegedly assaulted a police constable on Thursday. The charges against Sher Afzal include accusations of murder and obstructing the road.
The incident occurred when Sher Afzal Marwat arrived at the Supreme Court to represent former Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser. A confrontation ensued at the gate, escalating into a physical altercation with a citizen.
Sher Afzal Marwat claimed that the citizen verbally abused him without cause, emphasizing that he was unfamiliar with the individual.
Eyewitnesses reported that the citizen had visited the police station secretariat to file a complaint, but Sher Afzal declined further communication on the matter.
