KAKUL: Pakistan will not tolerate any cross-border aggression or breach of its frontiers, Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Syed Aamer Raza said on Saturday. His message on Pakistan border security came during the passing out ceremony at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul.
“Safeguarding the territorial integrity of our motherland is absolute and unyielding,” he said.
Four Courses Graduate at PMA Kakul
Gen Raza was the chief guest at the ceremony, which brought together four graduating batches: the 154th PMA Long Course, the 39th Technical Graduate Course, the 73rd Integrated Course, and the 28th Lady Cadet Course.
In his opening remarks, he said the event marked the completion of foundational military training at “one of the world’s premier military academies.” He congratulated the newly commissioned officers and their families, adding that the day would stay with the graduates for the rest of their lives.
Modern Warfare and Pakistan’s Multidomain Shift
Turning to the changing nature of conflict, the CNSC said the rapid spread of disruptive technology has fundamentally altered the character and dynamics of modern warfare. In his view, it has also dismantled many traditional operational doctrines.
“Fully cognisant of these shifting of paradigms, [the] Pakistan Armed Forces [have] undertaken a swift multidomain transformation to fortify our military posture,” he said.
Pakistan’s Strategic Role in a Shifting Region
Gen Raza also addressed the wider geopolitical picture. He noted that recent changes in global politics, set against the backdrop of the Middle East conflict, have once again highlighted Pakistan’s pivotal strategic importance on the international stage.
Pointing to the Islamabad Accord, he said the country had played a decisive part in restoring regional stability. “Our decisive role in restoring regional stability exemplified by the landmark Islamabad Accord demonstrates our enduring commitment to peace and diplomatic de-escalation,” he added.
