Lahore: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar expressed concerns about the security of 19 politicians in the region.
During a session led by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, he briefed election commission officials.
Dr. Anwar cited security reasons for withholding the politicians’ names.

Despite a shortage of 92,000 security forces in Punjab, he reassured that the situation is currently normal in preparation for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
