Peshawar: In a remarkable humanitarian initiative, Khud Mukhtar SAWI and HOPE Foundation have launched the “Iftar Dastarkhwan” in front of Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. The initiative, which began with a grand inauguration on Sunday, March 2, 2025, will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan, providing free Iftar to hundreds of people daily.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar officially inaugurated the Iftar Dastarkhwan, marking the beginning of a month-long charity event aimed at serving 300 to 400 people every day. Several prominent dignitaries graced the launching ceremony, including Minister for Social Welfare, Qasim Ali Shah, Mayor of Peshawar Metropolitan, Zubair Ali, and DDAC Chairman Peshawar, Sher Ali Afridi.

The “Iftar Dastarkhwan” will operate daily throughout the 30 days of Ramadan, offering free Iftar meals to those in need.
