RAWALPINDIL The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, had a 30-minute discussion with former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Saturday, where they delved into the country’s prevailing political landscape. The meeting, held in the jail’s conference room, was conducted informally, without any official protocol.
Earlier that day, CM Gandapur had filed a plea in court seeking permission to meet Imran Khan in Adiala Jail for consultations on legal and political matters, stressing the importance of privacy during their discussion. Despite the heightened security measures at Adiala Jail, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had been approached by Gandapur to facilitate the meeting, which the Prime Minister assured to arrange.
