Swabi: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi claimed on Saturday that PTI founder Imran Khan is seeking an NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) from the government, which will not be granted.
Speaking to the media after offering condolences to PPP leader Bilal Sherpao over his uncle’s death, Kundi stated that Imran Khan was asking the government for leniency, but the government has no plans to provide any concession. “The court will decide the fate of his cases,” Kundi emphasized.
Kundi further mentioned that it was a significant achievement for Maulana Fazlur Rehman that Asad Qaiser visits him frequently. He humorously noted, “Maulana is also facing challenges, as he, too, has to convert Jews to Islam.”
Regarding the no-confidence motion, the KP Governor made it clear that the PPP will not support PTI in any such move, affirming the strong alliance his party holds with PML-N.
