Pakistani security forces have killed four militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Khadd Kocha area of Mastung, officials said, as part of a wider counter-terrorism campaign in Balochistan.
The operation targeted militants linked to a group identified as Fitna al-Hindustan. Security sources said the raid was carried out under an ongoing campaign of intelligence-driven operations aimed at eliminating militant activity across the province.
Weapons Recovered, Suspects Detained
Following the raid, security personnel recovered a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition from the killed militants and seized motorcycles believed to have been used by the group. Sources also indicated that several other militants linked to the same network were injured during the operation, though this has not been independently confirmed beyond security channels.
In addition, multiple suspects accused of facilitating the militants were taken into custody. Search and clearance operations were reported to be continuing in the area following the raid, with security forces maintaining a heightened presence to prevent further activity.
Officials said the operation followed recent militant activity in the Khadd Kocha area of Mastung, which prompted an intensified pace of intelligence-based operations in the region. Authorities reiterated that such operations will continue until militancy in the area is fully eliminated and stability is restored.
