PESHAWAR:
Mohsin Dawar, Chairman of the National Democratic Movement (NDM) and former member of the National Assembly, survived a life-threatening attempt on his life in his hometown of North Waziristan on Wednesday.
According to initial reports, Mohsin Dawar was in Tappi village of North Waziristan for his electioneering campaign when the attack occurred.

Mohsin Dawar, formerly a central leader of the Pakhtun Tahfuz Movement (PTM), which unregistered with the Election Commission of Pakistan, had won the 2018 general elections as an independent candidate. Later, he parted ways with PTM and formed his own political party, NDM.
