In November of this year, Pakistan is scheduled to tour Australia for a white-ball series, marking the commencement of Australia’s white-ball schedule for the 2024-25 summer. The series will comprise six games in total, including three ODIs and three T20Is, spread across six venues from November 4th to November 18th, 2024.
This tour signifies Pakistan’s return to Australia after an absence of nearly 11 months, following their participation in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, featuring three Test matches held across Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne from December 2023 to January 2024.
The three ODIs, part of the Dettol Men’s ODI series, will kick off on November 4th at the renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground. Subsequent matches will be held in Adelaide on November 8th and Perth on November 10th. Pakistan’s last ODI series in Australia dates back to 2016, with the home team emerging victorious.
Following the ODIs, both teams will engage in the three-match Dettol Men’s T20I Series. The series will commence at The Gabba in Brisbane, followed by matches at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Hobart. Notably, Pakistan’s last T20I appearance in Australia was during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2022, where they reached the final.
