Pakistan’s national cricket team is set to embark on a tour of South Africa later in 2024, with the itinerary now officially confirmed. The tour will comprise two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is against the Patriots, marking Pakistan’s seventh Test tour to South Africa.
Kicking off the series will be the T20I leg, with the first match scheduled for December 10 in Durban. The action continues with the second T20I on December 13 in Centurion, followed by the third T20I on December 14 in Johannesburg.
Transitioning to the ODI format, the three-match series will commence on December 17 in Paarl, followed by the second ODI in Cape Town on December 19, and the final ODI on December 22 in Johannesburg.
The Test series will commence on December 26 in Centurion, where Pakistan will face South Africa in the first Test. The tour will conclude with the second Test, set to take place in Cape Town from January 3 onwards.
In addition to the South Africa tour, Pakistan will also undertake a series of ODIs and T20Is during their visit to Australia this year. Furthermore, they are slated to participate in a tri-nation ODI series alongside South Africa and New Zealand.
On the domestic front, Pakistan will host Test series against Bangladesh and England later in the current year.
