ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked world leaders for extending their congratulations to him on his re-election as the premier of the South Asian country.
Taking to the social media platform X, Sharif thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for his felicitations and expressed eagerness to strengthen Pakistan-Russia bilateral ties.
In a series of his posts, PM Shehbaz Sharif also thanked Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Zhaparov for his congratulatory message and expressed hopes for enhanced bilateral cooperation, particularly within the Economic Cooperation Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister thanked Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for his kind greetings, reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and praying for peace in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan.
He also expressed gratitude to Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon for his friendship and pledged to bolster Pakistan-Tajikistan relations.
The Prime Minister also thanked the leaders of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan for their congratulatory messages on his re-election.
