MUZAFFARABAD: The people in seven districts of Azad Kashmir, including Kotli, Tuesday took streets and observed shutter-down against inflation, high electricity bills and taxes.
Throughout Azad Kashmir, thousands of protesters held rallies and staged sit-ins in many cities. All major and minor roads across the state remained closed. Additionally, all types of transportation were suspended for Kotli, Mirpur, and Poonch divisions.
Citizens vehemently protested against the government and the electricity supply company, vowing to continue their demonstrations until their demands are met.
The Public Action Committee organized protests in seven districts, including Shaheed Chowk. All organizations, including traders, transporters, lawyers, and others, participated in the strike.
