RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Seemabia Tahir was arrested in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
A heavy police contingent detained her from Adiala Road. She has been named in multiple cases by Rawalpindi police.
Seemabia Tahir has served as a member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly since August 2018 and was a PTI candidate for NA-57.
Meanwhile, the arrest warrants for PTI leader Zartaj Gul have been canceled.
