ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has denied any discussions between PTI and the government or the establishment. He made this statement during a talk show.
He stated, “Any informal chat cannot be considered official talks.” Rana Sanaullah emphasized that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not involved in negotiations with either the government or the establishment.
He further added that narrowing the differences is possible, but PTI must change its approach. “PTI has not contacted the Speaker’s Office or held any meetings for discussions,” he noted. However, he expressed optimism. “When PTI leaders reach out, I am confident our leadership will respond positively,” he assured.
Speaking about recent developments, Rana Sanaullah highlighted the ISPR’s clarification regarding Faiz Hameed. He stated that the former official would not be made an approver. If Faiz Hameed is found guilty of violating the Official Secrets Act, he will likely face trial alongside PTI’s founder.
