On Wednesday, Pakistan strongly condemned Iran’s unprovoked violation of its airspace and a strike inside Pakistani territory. The incident led to the tragic death of two innocent children and the injury of three girls.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) issued a statement, declaring the violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty as unacceptable and warning of serious consequences. Despite existing communication channels between Pakistan and Iran, the illegal act occurred. Pakistan lodged a strong protest with the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, and the Iranian Charge d’affaires was summoned to convey Pakistan’s condemnation, emphasizing that the responsibility for the consequences lies squarely with Iran.
