RAWALPINDI: A suicide attack targeted a security forces convoy in Bannu, resulting in the martyrdom of two civilians and injuries to 10 individuals, including three soldiers.
The incident occurred on November 26 in the Baka Khel general area, as a suicide bomber on a motorcycle detonated himself near the convoy.
As per the statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the attack also injured seven civilians and three soldiers.
Disturbingly, the suicide bomber, identified as an Afghan national associated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group.
Named Rabinullah, son of Khanur Gul, with registration number 08916164. Notably, Rabinullah entered Pakistan on November 26, using an Afghan identity card.
The ISPR further conveyed that ongoing sanitization operations are in progress to eliminate other terrorists in the area.
Emphasizing their commitment, Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their determination to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
