In a bold move against India’s missile attacks, Pakistan has launched a full-scale military operation named Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos. The Pakistan military operation was initiated after India fired missiles at three different air bases early Saturday. One of these bases was near Islamabad.
According to officials, Pakistan’s air defence systems intercepted most of the incoming missiles. But the act was seen as a direct aggression. It came during rising hostilities between the two nuclear neighbours, already locked in constant clashes since Wednesday.
India had launched attacks deep inside Pakistani territory, escalating the long-running dispute over Kashmir. In response, Pakistan promised retaliation—and it delivered.
The armed response was named Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, a term drawn from the Holy Quran. It refers to “a wall built of molten lead”, a powerful symbol of unity, strength, and unbreakable defence.
As part of the counterstrike, the Pakistan Army launched a series of missile attacks on Indian military targets. These were not random. They were precise and carried a message.
One of the missiles was launched from a vehicle bearing a banner. The banner carried the names of children who had been killed in India’s missile attacks earlier that day. It was a solemn tribute to the innocent lives lost.
Officials described the action as a retaliatory operation, driven not only by defence needs but also by emotion and national resolve. Pakistan accused India of killing civilians, including children, in what it called cowardly missile strikes.
This missile offensive, launched under Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, is a clear signal of Pakistan’s military capability and its unwillingness to let aggression go unanswered. It also reinforces the country’s position that all such acts will be met with equal or greater force.
The Pakistan military operation stands not only as a military tactic but as a statement of honour and resistance. It has reshaped the regional atmosphere, pushing the India-Pakistan conflict to a dangerous new level.
