Lakki Marwat: A young man died while seven others fell critically ill after consuming poisoned food in the Wanda Semo area of Lakki Marwat, hospital and police sources confirmed on Sunday.
According to hospital officials, the affected individuals include four women, one girl, and two boys. Due to their critical condition, all seven were shifted from Lakki Marwat to Bannu for advanced medical treatment.
Police said the victims’ condition deteriorated suddenly after dinner, but the incident came to the attention of other family members only the following morning.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to determine the cause of food poisoning.
