ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has issued a reminder of the stringent deadline given to undocumented and illegal Afghan refugees for their repatriation from the country. Individuals residing in Pakistan without proper legal documentation are left nine days to leave the country.
The repatriation of illegal foreign nationals to their homeland from different parts of Pakistan continues as more families are returned to Afghanistan via Chaman and Torkham border. The one month deadline expiring on October 31 after which government will launch crackdown.
The government has asked undocumented foreign nationals to leave Pakistan by 1st of next month, otherwise law enforcement agencies will take action as per law for repatriation of all foreign nationals living without any legal document in their possession.
