ISLAMABAD:  A week after the Islamabad High Court denied bail to the arrested former prime minister Imran Khan in the cipher case,  PTI Chairman has approached the Supreme Court on Friday seeking bail. Salman Safdar filed the application, claiming that the cipher case is just another example of the ‘politically motivated cases’ targeting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman. ISLAMABAD: Three Islamabad police officials have been suspended for failing to return possessions to Afghan refugees departing the country. The police statement revealed that Inspector General Nasir Akbar Khan acted upon complaints of refugees not receiving their belongings. Consequently, the SHO, admin officer, and ASI of Shalimar police station were suspended by the SSP operations. The Islamabad Capital City Police Officer has initiated a departmental inquiry against these officials.
