PESHAWAR: A tragic blast targeting a police mobile in Peshawar left two police officers injured. The explosion occurred on Warsak Road, and the injured officers were quickly transported to a local hospital.
The bomb disposal squad also arrived at the scene to investigate.
This incident follows a similar attack last week on the Marian police station in Bannu, which resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The attack left the Station House Officer (SHO) and four other officers injured. The assailants fled the scene, prompting a manhunt by local authorities.
Just a day prior, a grenade attack was reported at the Mach police station in Nasirabad, with suspects throwing a hand grenade onto the police station’s roof before fleeing on motorcycles. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the police have launched an investigation to track down those responsible for the attack.
