Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, announced that the federal and Punjab governments have provided relief to the public in electricity bills to alleviate their hardships.
In a video statement, the minister emphasized that the federal government is making every effort to offer relief to the masses. He mentioned that the federal government has provided relief to electricity consumers using up to 200 units for three months.
Tarar praised the relief measures taken by the Punjab Government and encouraged other provincial governments to follow suit, stressing that providing relief to the public should be a shared priority.
He also noted that the government announced relief on petroleum product prices on Independence Day, highlighting the ongoing efforts to support the public.
