ZHOB: At least three terrorists associated with banned outlet Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed and several others wounded in an infiltration bid thwarted by the armed forces in Zhob area of Balochistan, said a military statement on Friday.
In the gunfight, four Pakistan Army soldiers were also embraced martyrdom, read statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR said that security forces thwarted the terrorists’ entry near Sambaza area of Zhob at the Pak-Afghan Border. In the exchange of fire, four soldiers were martyred.
“In the ensuing operation, Havildar Sattar, Lance Naik Sher Azam, Lance Naik Adnan and Sepoy Nadeem fought valiantly and embraced shahadat,” it added.
Three terrorists were also killed while several others wounded in the retaliation from security forces. The infiltration bid was foiled, added ISPR.
